Wētā Workshop was thrilled to work on the epic trilogy that was The Hobbit, contributing design, specialty props and specialty costumes.

It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment, or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.

The necromancer, a shadowy façade of Sauron™, keeps the Wizard Gandalf™ imprisoned within a cruel iron cage. Denying any possibility of his rescue stand The Nine garbed in ethereal armour, a lingering hint at their once worldly origins. Rulers from the various lands of Middle-earth; this one, a lord from the tribal plains to the East, the Ringwraith of Rhûn.
